Please come and join as our 2024 AGM

Nominations for Committee roles are open, plus many other volunteer roles and all of whom play an important part in making lacrosse happen and developing and improving what we do. We welcome players, parents, supporters and former members who like to get involved and make a difference to Join us at the Club on Thursday 18th July 2024 7pm for our Timperley Lacrosse Club AGM and election of Officers for 2024-25

All members, players, volunteers and parents are welcome (only 2023-24 Members can vote)
The AGM Agenda (below) gives you heads up on what we'll be covering and feel free to send in any questions in advance, or if you can't make it or ask on the evening. The AGM is an important part of running our Lacrosse Club - if you've enjoyed your Lacrosse this season and being part of the club a lot of that is down to how we run the club so please do come along and learn more about how 2023-24 has gone and our future.
Get involved!

As we grow and develop as a Club on and off the pitch it’s even more critical that we have an active group of volunteers from across the club to help on and off the pitches. We've everything from Committee Roles to small jobs that all make a big difference and for 2024-25 we will be looking at new ways to help support the running of TLC and engaging more people from across all the teams / ages to help share the work out. So come along and have your say and share your thoughts about how we could do things better.
At the AGM will also be electing our 2024-25 TLC Committee as part of our Governance.

• Men's Club Captain - current role holder Ed Loveland
• Women's Club Captain - current role holder Lynsey Wright
• Junior Coordinator – current role holder Emma Lee
• Junior Boys Co-ordinator current role holder Sam Hirst
• Junior Girls Co-ordinator current role holder Cengiz Ilhan
• Lacrosse Development Chair - vacant
• Membership Officer – current role holder Emma Lee

The Lacrosse committee meets monthly and provides the overall direction and co-ordination of the full range of activities required to run a Lacrosse club of our size and scope. In addition, the committee and work are supported by a number of appointed roles that perform key roles in making Lacrosse work and get even better at Timperley.
Other roles include:

• Umpire/Ref Co-ordinator
• Fixture and Pitch Allocation Co-ordinator
• Sponsorship and Fundraising Co-ordinator
• Communications and social media
• Welfare Officer(s)
• Team Managers (senior and junior teams)
• Junior Team Coaches

Interested in getting involved in a specific role or to support running TLC?
- If you would like to find out more about any of the committee roles or other volunteer opportunities please contact Phil, Mike, Tim, Sam, Cengiz or any committee member for a chat
- If you wish to stand for one of the nine committee roles above please email timplaxsec@gmail.com by 18:00hrs Monday 15th July 2024 (final nominations will be taken up to 18.45 on Wednesday 17th July immediately prior to the AGM. Please submit the following details:
• Your Name (and you need to be a member of the Timperley Sports Club (Lacrosse section or non-playing member)
• The role(s) you'd like to stand for
• What you feel you bring to the role
• Name of a Club Member to propose you for the role (or we can help find a proposer!)
• Name of a Club Member to second you for the role (or we can help find a seconder!)
• Please confirm that your proposer and seconder have agreed to do this.

There is flexibility around how we do the roles and how they work with the committee members so get in touch and let's work out how you can get involved in taking TLC forward next season.
